1.1 If you use the Website, you must comply with these Terms and Conditions (as updated from time to time) - if you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Website.
1.2 By using the Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions (as updated from time to time) and that you agree to comply with them.
1.3 These Terms and Conditions refer to our Privacy Statement which applies to use of the Website.
1.4 There are other terms that may also apply to you.
1.5 We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Every time you wish to use the Website, please check these Terms and Conditions to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
1.6 We do not represent that content available on or through the Website is appropriate for use or available in other locations (other than England and Wales), or that it complies with the law and regulations in those other locations.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
2.1 The Website is operated by the On the EDGE Conservation. We are a charitable company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales under company number 09646831 and charity number 1163124 and our registered office is at 152a Walton Street, London, United Kingdom, SW3 2JJ.

3. How you may use material on the Website
3.1 The content of the Website is owned by On the EDGE Conservation or third parties. Subject to the other provisions of this clause 3, no content from the Website, including any downloadable worksheets or other similar content, may be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcasted, transmitted or otherwise used without our written consent, except where it is used:
3.1.1 for non-commercial personal and educational use (provided it is not published or shared with any third parties) where no consent is required; or
3.1.2 for participation in any of the activities promoted by On the EDGE via the Website.
Please send your written requests to use content from the Website to office@ontheedge.org.
3.2 Our status, and that of any identified contributors, as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged.
3.3 If you print off, copy or download any part of our Website in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
3.4 Except as permitted in these Terms and Conditions, you may not alter the Website in any way or do anything that might or will damage or disrupt the good working order of the Website or our equipment or software.
4. Use of and reliance on information on the Website
4.1 We do not guarantee that the information contained in the Website is accurate, verified or complete. We do not guarantee that any content or information on the Website complies with laws and regulations in any jurisdiction. We accept no liability if you or any person or organisation relies on or uses the information. This Website and the information, articles, names, images, pictures, logos and other content on it are provided "as is" without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind (including on accuracy, legal compliance or reliability) whether express or implied.
4.2 In no event will we be liable for any loss, liability or damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or the loss of data, goodwill, reputation or profits, or any damages whatsoever arising from the use, or in connection with use or loss of use, of the Website, including in contract or in negligence.
4.3 We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the Website or your use of it will be free of viruses or harmful material.
4.4 You are responsible for ensuring that your computer is suitable to use the Website.
5. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
5.1 In circumstances where you suffer loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website, we accept no liability.
5.2 On the EDGE Conservation shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by your use of another website or resource (including those linked from the Website). Any concerns regarding any external link should be directed to office@ontheedge.org immediately.
5.3 If we are liable to you for any reason, our liability will be limited to £200. (This limit does not apply to any liability we may have for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation).
6. Links to other Website
6.1 We are not responsible for websites to which we link.
6.2 Where the Website contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them - we have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.
7. Rules about linking to the Website
7.1 You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
7.2 You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
7.3 You must not establish a link to the Website in any website that is not owned by you.
7.4 The Website must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of The Website other than the home page.
7.5 We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. If you wish to link to or make any use of content on the Website other than that set out above, please contact office@ontheedge.org
8. Uploading content for use in the #AnimalEDGEucation project (the “Project”)
This section should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Notice applicable to the #AnimalEDGEucation project
8.1 You agree that any materials or work (“Work”) you post on social media (including, but not limited to, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook) using the hashtag #AnimalEDGEucation is automatically submitted Work as part of the Project and is shared with us in accordance with this clause 8 of these Terms and Conditions.
8.2 By submitting Work to On the EDGE as part of the Project (which happens automatically if you use the hashtag #AnimalEDGEucation as explained above), you acknowledge:
8.2.1 that you are the parent or guardian of (with parental responsibility for) the child whose Work is submitted as part of the Project and that you will not allow a child to directly submit works to On the EDGE;
8.2.2 that the child owns the copyright in any Work submitted and that the child has the full right to copy and transmit the Work to On the EDGE for use in the Project, including for On the EDGE to upload the Work to the Website; and
8.2.3 that the Work does not infringe any third party rights or intellectual property rights, including copyright and trade mark rights.
8.3 By submitting Work as part of the Project you have explained to your child how their Work will be used by On the EDGE and they / you agree:
8.3.1 to grant to On the EDGE an exclusive, perpetual, royalty free, global licence to reproduce the Work in any format that On the EDGE sees fit and for any purpose, with full rights to sub-license, including on social media and in any published Work; and
8.3.2 that although On the EDGE will endeavour to credit the child you are responsible for as the author of any Work submitted by you (where the name is given when you use the hashtag), this will not always be possible or appropriate.
8.4 The licence granted at clause 8.3.1 shall survive termination of these Terms and Conditions for any reason.
8.5 You agree that On the EDGE cannot be held responsible for any third party misuse of the Work submitted by you to the Project.
8.6 You will not submit works to On the EDGE that are or we deem to be: unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, sexually explicit, harmful, fraudulent, confidential, libellous, hateful, discriminatory, threatening or contain otherwise illegal material or information or anything which might constitute a criminal or civil offence or promote violence.
9. How we may use your personal information
9.1 We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Statement or any Privacy Notice (as updated from time to time).
9.2 You agree that any information you provide to us is accurate.
9.3 On the EDGE Conservation takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information but where third parties are concerned accepts no liability for any misuse of your personal information by third parties and you therefore proceed at your own risk.
10. Bugs and Viruses
10.1 You must not misuse the Website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which the Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the Website. You must not attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you may commit a criminal offence. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Website will cease immediately.
11. General
11.1 We may update and change the Website from time to time, for example, to reflect changes to our activities.
11.2 The Website is made available free of charge.
11.3 We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Website for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
11.4 You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.
11.5 We may assign, transfer, replace or subcontract any or all of our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11.6 If any term of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining terms shall continue to be valid.
11.7 Except in respect of a payment obligation to On the EDGE Conservation neither you nor On the EDGE Conservation will be held liable for any failure to perform any obligation to the other due to causes beyond your reasonable control.
11.8 Failure or delay by either party to enforce an obligation or exercise a right under these Terms and Conditions shall not be a waiver of that obligation or right.
11.9 These Terms and Conditions do not confer any rights on any person or party (other than you and/or us) pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
11.10 These Terms and Conditions and your use of the Website are governed by English law and you are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

12.1 All contact or notices to be given in relation to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Website shall be given:
(a) to us via e-mail to office@ontheedge.org; or
(b) to you, via these Terms and Conditions (or an email address that you confirm to us we may use for the purpose of serving contact/notice).
12.2 Notice will be deemed received when an e-mail is received in full or (if given via these Terms and Conditions) when it appears in the updated Terms and Conditions.

(a) “On the EDGE”, “On the EDGE Conservation”, “our”, “we” or “us” refer to On the EDGE Conservation (for details about us, please see above).
(b) The “Privacy Statement” refers to the privacy statement.
(c) “Terms and Conditions” refers to these Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy as updated or amended from time to time.
