ReRooted Series 2

Latest Release / Jeshi Makes a Beat With Nature

'ReRooted' written in neon green with a black outline on a white background.
Two seagulls flying over the ocean with a cloudy sky and some blurred greenery in the foreground.
Musician, Iglooghost, with short hair sitting on grass by a small lake in a natural setting with green trees and barley-colored grass under a partly cloudy sky.

Collaborating with Nature on a new banger. Challenge accepted.

ReRooted Series 2 follows Jeshi, Iglooghost, and Moonchild Sanelly as they uncover some often-overlooked frequencies from Nature, transforming them into tracks for your listening pleasure. Goose interviews, bog dancing, and seaside chanting, as well as some certified earworms.

Meet The Artists

Musician, Jeshi, wearing sunglasses, a white t-shirt, a yellow open over shirt, a light jacket and a gold chain standing outdoors with green foliage and purple flowers in the background looking up at the sky.

Jeshi

Sharp beats and sharper lyrics, East London’s Jeshi is a rapper on the rise. His music is shaped by city sounds, humans, transportation, and the hum of daily life – how will that approach translate in the wilderness of Richmond Park?

Musician, Iglooghost, with short hair and earrings wearing a grey long-sleeved top with a black gilet standing in a field of tall, dry grass under a partly cloudy sky.
Bright yellow neon squiggles with black outlines used on the webpage as an accent.

Iglooghost

Iglooghost is an electronic music producer with a keen ear for storytelling. His sci-fi aesthetic blends mythology with futurism, and his music is highly narrated. Who better to navigate you through the world of wetlands?

Musician, Moonchild Sanelly, with blue curly hair wearing a long-sleeved short white and peach dress and black boots sitting at the base of some cliffs on white rocks.

Moonchild Sanelly

Moonchild Sanelly’s distinct style fuses electronic genres from all spaces. For her, ReRooted is an extension of her Xhosa ancestors, where crafted wood instruments were a vital part of culture. This is her first time working with field recordings and natural samples – what will she discover by the sea?
